The Faceless Working on Multiple New Releases

Michael Keene, the only consistent member of The Faceless, tells the Twittersphere that he’s got a lot going on in his life right now. Specifically:

“Hello Twitter. Long time no see. Just an update. I just bought an amazing house and recording studio, I’m engaged to be married and a TWO Faceless releases are currently being worked on! Can’t wait to show you what I’ve been working on!”

Now, The Faceless have not traditionally been what you’d call “prolific.” It was four years in-between Planetary Duality and Authotheism and five years in-between Authotheism and In Becoming a Ghost. At that rate, we’re not due for any new music from the band until 2023. But… one of those releases could be an EP, or a live album, or a rarities collection, or something like that, which presumably would take less time to complete. Whatever it is, it will likely be great. Keene has had a lot of problems in recent years, but the band’s releases are consistently killer.

You’ll know more when we do.
