Vital Remains Recruit Thy Antichrist’s Scott Eames on Vocals

Fans of Vital Remains probably panicked when the American brutal death metallers parted ways with frontman Brian Werner after announcing a tour even though the band reassured everyone that the run would go on regardless.

Joining the band on vocals on this round of dates will be Thy Antichrist / Nevalra guitarist Scott Eames. Known for his extreme and aggressive black metal vocals, Scott’s vocal talent will surely be a valuable addition to Vital Remains’s lineup.

Unlike Eames’s estranged brother, Jered Threatin, let’s hope that they can actually sell out their shows! Vital Remains have been making waves in extreme metal since 1988, so they probably have a few more fans than Threatin — who infamously booked an entire, failed European tour despite having no fans — and certainly have infinite times the talent.
