Relapse Launches New Series of Previously Unreleased Death Live Recordings

  • Axl Rosenberg

One great new way to pass the time while stuck at home avoiding death: not avoiding Death.

To that end, Relapse Records and the Death estate have announced the launch of Death: Non Analog – On Stage Series, “a series of previously unreleased, career-spanning live concerts that touch upon all eras and lineups of the legendary band.” You can stream the first installment, which was recorded on June 22, 1995 in Montréal, Canada, below, or on the streaming platform of your choice. If I’m not mistaken, in addition to mastermind Chuck Schuldiner, this iteration of Death would have included drummer Gene Hoglan (Testament, Strapping Young Lad, Dethklok, etc.), bassist Kelly Conlon (Monstrosity), and guitarist Bobby Koelble. So. Pretty friggin’ great.
