Sevendust Unveil New Track, “Blood From a Stone,” Both Heavy and Catchy!

Sevendust have made good on their promise to release new music this year, having recorded an entire new album before the pandemic hit.

“Blood From a Stone” arrives today via all digital platforms, and those of you who enjoy Sevendust’s slightly poppier side (like me!) are gonna love it. Not that it’s not heavy — it’s got some big ol’, hard-hitting riffs — but it also has a very, very catchy chorus. Like, very catchy! You’ll be singing it after just one listen, and the song is only three minutes and twenty seconds long. Michael “Elvis” Baskette produced the band’s new album — he also produced their last, All I See is War — and that dude is all about songs, so it makes sense.

Blood & Stone will come out on October 23 via Rise Records; pre-order here. Stream “Blood From a Stone” below! The band released a cover of Soundgarden’s “The Day I Tried to Live” earlier this summer.
