Sumac Release Epic New Song “Two Beasts”

Was the five-song, hour-long October release, May You Be Held, just not enough Sumac to satisfy you? Rejoice! For the band has just released a new song, “Two Beasts”… and it’s nearly nineteen-minutes long. That’s longer than some grindcore albums!

You can stream the entire track at the bottom of this post and/or buy it on Bandcamp for two bucks and/or stream it on the digital platform of your choice — although the group kept May You Be Held off Spotify in response to some super-dumb comments about royalty rates made by that company’s CEO, Daniel Ek, “Beasts” is available on the service.

“Two Beasts” is actually Sumac’s third release since July: they also put out a live album, St. Vitus 09/07/2018. So Sumac fans are truly getting an embarrassment of riches this year. Glad 2020 is working out for somebody!
