Rammstein Unveil Line of Insanely Expensive Merch with Luxury Fashion Brand Balenciaga

Would you pay $650 for a Rammstein t-shirt or $995 for a hoodie? How about an $850 fanny pack or a $2,250 raincoat adorned with Rammstein’s logo and likenesses?

If you answered “yes” to any of those questions, now’s the time to test your mettle: Rammstein have unveiled a line of merch with luxury fashion brand Balenciaga, and the prices are absolutely absurd.

What’s more, people are inexplicably buying them. I’m not sure how many were made available to start — just a handful of each? maybe even only one? — but of the nine items unveiled as part of the Rammstein x Balenciaga collaboration, two are already marked as out of stock (two more are still in the pre-order phase).

Rammstein made good use of their pandemic time off by working on a new album on a way quicker timeline than usual. The band recently revealed the effort is basically finished. They’ve also rescheduled their 2021 European stadium tour, already once moved from 2020, to 2022.
