Slipknot: Watch Drum-Cam Footage From the Live Debut of “The Chapeltown Rag”

  • Axl Rosenberg

Some random YouTube channel has uploaded drum-cam footage of Slipknot’s Jay Weinberg performing the band’s recent single, “The Chapeltown Rag,” during last month’s Knotfest Los Angeles. This was, of course, the track’s live debut.

You can view the video below. The audio mix almost completely drowns out the rest of the band and the crowd, so this is a great opportunity to examine Weinberg’s parts on their own.

Meanwhile, you can watch pro-shot video of the performance that isn’t drum-centric here. Corey Taylor has called the track, which was produced by Joe Barresi (Tool, Avenged Sevenfold, Pallbearer, etc.), “frenetic” and “a punisher.”
