Video: Actress Kate Beckinsale Bros Down to Texas Hardcore Crew Kublai Khan TX

0

Once upon a time, metal and hardcore were these underground scenes that no self-respecting celebrity would touch with a 666-foot pole — especially not a beautiful female celebrity. But it’s 2022, and those scenes and their utter brutality are now part of pop culture’s hilarity as a whole. Case in point, actress Kate Beckinsale just posted a video to her Instagram in which she’s doing a little coloring to a tune by Texan hardcore act Kublai Khan TX.

As you’ll see in the video below, Beckinsale had herself a Galentine’s Day sleepover with tattooed actress and latex fetishwear designer Nina Kate. The two ladies did what this writer assumes most women do on their sleepovers: coloring while listening to brutal Texas hardcore! It just goes to show that every guy’s preconceived notions about girlfriend sleepovers are true — they are really just about the breakdowns.

Check out the video below, one slide in. Oh, and give Kublai Khan TX a shout-out in the comments! We expected more love, but it’s all just people weirdly hitting on Beckinsale. Their new EP, Lowest Form of Animal, comes out April 11th via Rise Records and is available for preorder; you can watch the video for their new track “Swan Song” featuring Terror’s Scott Vogel below.
