Watch: Korn Perform “Worst Is On Its Way” in a Methodist Church
Back in April, nu-metal scatmen Korn dropped the video for “Worst Is On Its Way,” a single off of the band’s 2022 album Requiem. Now, there’s video footage of the band performing that track in a Methodist church, which you can watch below.
The video comes from the band’s World Requiem Mass, which was their livestreamed album-release show which took place at the Hollywood United Methodist Church in Los Angeles. As you’ll see, Korn definitely go full ecclesiastical with the performance, backed by a choir and surrounded by candles. It actually kind of elevates the track, which we weren’t huge fans of when it dropped, but which feels more appropriate in the dramatic setting. If only more churches made themselves available as metal venues. What the fuck, Archdiocese of Pennsylvania?
