Lamb of God Ditch Color for the New Single and Video “Grayscale”

Lamb of God are about to absolutely fucking blow up in the coming weeks. They’ve got a new album, Omens, coming out on October 7 via Epic Records and they’re about to embark on a huge tour starting this Friday.

To that end, the band released a new track and music video titled “Grayscale.” If you’re a fan of Lamb of God, then you already pretty much know what you’re getting with this one, just with a little twinge of hardcore thrown in there. It’s heavy. It’s precise. It’s “take no prisoners” American metal. Willie Adler said the song almost ended up not making it on the record.

“‘Grayscale’ has just a smack you in the face, bit of hardcore feel to it. We had basically finished writing the record and I wrote this song thinking it won’t necessarily be a Lamb song. I sent it to Josh Wilbur, our producer, to check out and he responded with ‘Perfect, this is the last song we need for the record!’”

Be sure to check the single out for yourself below. It’s a killer. Omens will become available to the masses on October 7, but preorders are available today.
