Corpsegrinder Guests on New Creeping Death Track “Intestinal Wrap”

Sometimes two things just go together, like peanut butter and chocolate or Creeping Death and George “Corpsegrinder” Fisher. The Cannibal Corpse vocalist lent his vocals to “Intestinal Wrap,” the first track from Creeping Death’s new album, Boundless Domain, which is scheduled for a June 16 release via MNRK Heavy.

The song is loaded with groovy death metal riffs, which gives Corpsegrinder the perfect canvas to work with alongside Creeping Death vocalist Reese Alavi. The record, which was produced by Killswitch Engage guitarist Adam Dutkiewicz, is heavy as bricks and “Intestinal Wrap” is a great example of how. According to guitarist Trey Pemberton, Boundless Domain sounds like it does because of Dutkiewicz’s hand in the album.

“We’ve never sounded better. We love the people we’ve recorded with before, but we’ve never had anybody challenge and push us as Adam did.”

Pemberton also opened up about the fact that Boundless Domain was heavily influenced by the passing of Texas heroes Riley Gale of Power Trip and Wade Allison of Iron Age.

“We made it a point to bring in more influences from hardcore bands we came up loving, especially Texas hardcore. There’s a lot of Mammoth Grinder, Iron Age, and Power Trip influence. Having Riley and Wade pass so close to one another left a huge hole in the scene. We all went on a kick of listening to the Texas stuff for a while, and it definitely seeped into our writing.”
