Mudvayne in the Studio, Working on New Music

0

It’s a good time to be a Mudvayne fan; the facepainted nü-metal icons announced recently that they’ll be embarking on their first tour in over a decade this summer and now it appears that they’re working on new music. In the most Mudvayne post possible, vocalist Chad Gray posted on Instagram that he was in the studio recording vocals, but we’re not entirely sure what they’re for yet.

“Just being all psycho crushing some HEAVY ASS VOX IN TEXAS! Don’t mess wit’ it! ⚡️⚡️⚡️-Mad Boy #mudvayne #wereallinthistogether”

In September, Gray talked about the possibility of new music:

“That’s obviously something we got to cross, right? There’s two ways you can do it. You could go out, and you can go once around the rock and just play catalog. For sure, that’s absolutely a possibility. Or you can try to put something together. You can gauge it, you can decide. I’m not going to say because I’ve been constantly writing, recording touring for the last 12 years with Hellyeah. So I don’t think my well’s dry by any means. And I’m excited, I would be excited to write with these guys.”

It seems unlikely we’ll hear anything before the tour, but go see them live and tell us if they play a new song.
