Static-X Drop Animated Video for “Z0mbie”
In the spooky, cute, and over-the-top spirit of the Halloween season, Static-X released an animated music video yesterday for the track “Z0mbie.” Featuring plenty of sleaze, sex, drugs, trippy colors, and fun easter eggs, the video answers the age old question of “what if our favorite childhood animators took a whole mess of LSD and began worshiping the devil?”
The track is from the band’s upcoming album, Project Regeneration: Vol. 2, which once again features the masked frontman Xer0 (aka Edsel Dope, of Dope fame) on vocals and guitar, along with the rest of the original lineup from the band’s classic Wisconsin Death Trip album.
The video was created by Makinita Silva and directed by Static-X creative director Edsel Dope.
Project Regeneration: Vol. 2 will be released on January 26, but you can preorder the album today. You can also catch the band on tour all this month at any of the dates listed below.
