New Stuff

veil of maya - idJudging by the comments about the Veil of Maya track “Namaste” we premiered a few weeks back, you guys really like Veil of Maya.

You’ll be pleased to hear, then, that Veil of Maya just posted another new song called “Unbreakable” on their MySpace page. Axl posted a Metal Injection live clip of the track just last week so in a sense we’ve already heard it, but as usual the actual studio recording sounds way better, fuller and possesses nuance that’s lost in any bootleg live recording. I’m digging the song… I really like some of the subtle guitar effects going on in the background.

“Unbreakable” comes from Veil of Maya’s forthcoming Michael Keene-produced release [id], out April 6th on Sumerian Records. Apparently Sumerian is releasing four CD versions of the album, each with a different color scheme; I can’t imagine ever shelling out money for four copies of the same disc but I’m sure there are people who will, as the band’s followers seem quite fanatical.
