Here’s the New KXM Video (Pinnick/Lynch/Luzier) for “Breakout”

0

This KXM project seems to have some legs, eh? When the band — featuring Doug Pinnick (King’s X), George Lynch (ex-Dokken, Lynch Mob) and Ray Luzier (Korn) — first announced their existence in early 2014, sure, it held plenty of promise. But how many “supergroups” come and go after one album these days? Just ask Luzier about Army of Anyone.

Now KXM are back with album number two, and they’ve just released the album’s second single, “Breakout.” It’s pretty much what you’d expect from these cats, and that’s a good thing: George Lynch doing Lynchian guitar things (that solo! mwah!), Pinnick sounding like manic church preacher and Luzier being tastier than anyone ever gives him credit for. Fans of any of the members’ other bands (save Korn) should really dig this track.

Since we slept on the title track from KXM’s new album Scatterbrain when it came out last month, we’ll post that below too. Rapidly approaching 100k views — wow! — so no wonder these guys came back for round two.

Scatterbrain comes out on March 17th via Rat Pak Records; pre-order it here.
