The Contortionist Stream Live In-Studio Performance of “Reimagined”

I went to see Devin Townsend, The Contortionist and Haken perform in Brooklyn about a month ago, but life has changed so drastically since then it seems like friggin’ years ago. Little did I know it’d be one of the final live shows I’d see for a very long time; I caught Cult of Luna and Intronaut the next night, and that was that.

Remember the good times along with The Contortionist in their newly pro-shot live recording of “Reimagined,” filmed at The Machine Shop and mixed by the studio’s namesake, legendary metal producer Machine. It’s a perfect escape for these quarantined times, and beyond that, the crystal-clear mix reveals nuance you may’ve never known the song had. A video will never be as good as the real thing, but this one hits the spot right about now.
