Stream Sight of Emptiness’s Latest Death Metal Masterpiece, Redemption

Time flies when you’re headbanging: we’ve been huge fans of death metallers Sight of Emptiness since all the way back in 2010! And it’s no wonder: Costa Rica’s finest metal export not only continue pumping out solid material, but they keep getting better and better.

Their latest album, Redemption, sees them branching out from their melodic death metal roots into more expansive territory that incorporates elements from not only throughout the entire DM spectrum, but black metal and industrial as well. What’s more, the band have doubled down on their penchant for writing earworm-worthy riffs and melodies, and their performance here is top notch. This is some seriously mind-bending, genre-pushing stuff, and it’s a wonder Sight of Emptiness aren’t a household name.
