Cloudkicker Releases New Version of “Not to Scale or Painted” Featuring Intronaut’s Sacha Dunable

Cloudkicker has released a new version of the 2018 song “Not to Scale or Painted.” The original song, you may recall, was written and recorded in 9.5 hours. We don’t know how long it took to record this new iteration, but we do know that it features contributions from Intronaut’s Sacha Dunable. Intronaut and Cloudkicker go way back:  Intronaut served as the Cloudkicker backing band on tour a few years back, recordings of which were eventually released as a live album.

Says Cloudkicker mastermind/onlymind Ben Sharp of the new-old song:

“Hey all, here is track 9 of my new album ‘Solitude,’ which is a re-recorded version of ‘Not to Scale or Painted.’The song was reworked a bit, with some new additions by Sacha Dunable of Intronaut. He and I also worked together on ‘What They Do Is Not Art,’ which will be track 2 of the album.”

Check out the re-thunk “Not to Scale or Painted” below. Solitude comes out September 8, and can be pre-ordered here.
