Turnstile Announce New Album, Release First Single
Hot on the heels of their recent surprise EP, Turnstile Love Connection, Turnstile have announced an August 27 release date (via Roadrunner) for their next full-length, Glow On. It will consist of fifteen tracks, four of which appeared on the aforementioned EP.
The band has also released the first single from that album, “Alien Love Call,” and it’s probably not what you’re expecting. It’s one of three songs on the album to feature Blood Orange, and is much more in the vein of Blood Orange music than Turnstile’s usual brand of hardcore. Which isn’t necessarily a bad thing — fuckin’ song got stuck in my head after one listen.
