Behemoth’s “Once Upon A Pale Horse” Music Video Features Some High-Tech Blasphemy

It’s wild that we live in a time where people can conjure up anything they want in that brain case and with the assistance of technology, they can make those images come to life. Such is the case of Behemoth‘s music video for “Once Upon A Pale Horse” off of Opvs Contra Natvram.

Released earlier today, the video is just the latest in a string of clips released for the band’s 2022 studio effort. As you’ll see in the clip below, the music video takes performance footage of the band filmed and directed by Grupa13 and juxtaposes it over some epic (and sometimes epically disturbing) computer generated animation created by Anton “strss893” Pavsyuk.

What’s particularly striking about the video is the use of a predominantly white and gold color palette on nearly everything except the band members themselves. What you get as a result is a music video that looks palatial and ornate, while the song sounds dark and powerful.

This new music video comes as the band has just recently started its summer European tour. They’re doing the summer festival circuit, so if you’ve got tickets to shows like Download, Hellfest, or Graspop, you’re already set to catch Adam “Nergal” Darski and the guys tear shit up in glorious sacrilege.

You can find the full list of tour dates below the music video.
