’68 Spring Tour with The Callous Daoboys Proves Social Media Can Sometimes Be Useful

Sometimes the hellscape that is Twitter (still not calling it X) stops being a fascist playground just long enough for people to get something nice out of it for a change. It doesn’t happen often, but when an interaction between two killer bands quickly results in an exciting tour announcement, then maybe it’s not all bad.

Earlier today, Atlanta-based duo ’68 announced a headlining spring tour with fellow Atlantans The Callous Daoboys and Pittsburgh’s The Homeless Gospel Choir. This is noteworthy because back on January 3, this whole thing got off the ground when the Daoboys hit up ’68 wondering why they never played a show together, despite being from the same city. Plans for a tour quickly began to materialize and well… here we are.

So yeah, the tour will kick off on March 7 in West Palm, Florida and come to a stop back in Atlanta on April 6. Throughout the tour, they’ll hit a long list of major metropolitan areas, so there’s a good chance this show’s coming to a venue near you.

Tickets go on sale this Friday at 10 a.m. local time. You can find the full list of dates below.
