3 Inches of Blood is Coming to the U.S. for the First Time in Over a Decade

0

This past September, we were excited to share the news that Canadian metal motherfuckers 3 Inches Of Blood had a couple reunion shows lined up for the start of the new year out in Vancouver. It was an exciting bit of news that resulted in not one, but three shows getting played as fans lost their minds selling the first two gigs out.

As it turns out, the allure of getting back on the road and playing kick ass tunes is too great for the dudes in 3IOB, because they’re leaving the friendly confines of the Commodore Ballroom and heading down for a single show in Seattle this summer.

As of right now, the only gig they have in the U.S. lined up is slated for June 7. That’s not to say we won’t have another scenario where they have to add more dates to appease a rabid fan base, but that’s always a possibility. Coming along for the show as supporting acts will be Toxic Holocaust and Xoth. The band put out a statement expressing their excitement over the whole ordeal.

“Seattle, we’re coming for you! After 12 long years we return to what has been a second home for 3 Inches Of Blood, Seattle WA. We’ll be at Showbox June 7th for an epic heavy metal party celebrating 20 years of Advance and Vanquish. Joining us will be Toxic Holocaust and Xoth. Tickets go on sale Friday January 19th. Presale starts January 17th – code ‘VANQUISH’. Tickets available at showboxpresents.com. Link in bio.”

As they said in their statement, the band is currently celebrating the 20th anniversary of Advance and Vanquish, which was one hell of a record. The ticket pre-sale for that Seattle show will kick off today, with the public getting a chance to make sure they’ll be able to attend this Friday.
