Remember The Grindmother, the grandma of Corrupt Leaders frontman Rain Forest who decided to become a death metal phenomenon? Well, she’s back with a new single off of her upcoming album. You can watch it below.

The thing is, as much as you might want to blow Grindmother off as a gimmick–and there’s a certain validity to that — this woman in her late 60s sounds, and from a distance looks, like plenty of death metal singers out there. So laugh all you want, and then go to band rehearsal and wonder why your singer, with all his tattoos and his sneering and his headbanging and his loud political views, can’t bellow the way this woman can.
