Everything F*ck the Facts Love Is Ending

What is subject of “Everything I Love Is Ending,” the latest single from Fuck the Facts’ new album, Pleine Noirceur? The environment’s ability to sustain human life? Democracy? The series finale of The Good Place?

Well, to hear the band explain it to Consequence of Sound, who debuted the track today, it’s about none of these things… and yet, it could be about any and all of these things:

“‘Everything I Love Is Ending’ exploits the classic grindcore dichotomy between sludgy and grindy. Even though this song is pretty straight forward, you’ll be able to distinguish four distinct parts, setting completely different moods. Lyrically the song takes on hurt, loss, and coming to terms with the inevitable end of all we hold dear.”

So I’m gonna keep pretending it’s about the end of The Good Place, but you do you, k?

Listen to “Everything I Love Is Ending” below. It’s the second song from Pleine Noirceur the band has released in a week, after “Dropping Like Flies.” Not that I’m complaining!

Pleine Noirceur, Fuck the Facts’ first new album in more than five years, is set for release on November 20 via the band’s very own Noise Salvation label. Listen to the title track here, the song “Ailleurs” here, and pre-order the album here.
