Here’s a Metal Cover of Billie Eilish’s “No Time to Die” by in Virtue

Ihsahn, Wolfgang Van Halen, Alex Skolnick — the verdict is in: metalheads love Billie Eilish! I’d like to think that’s because metalheads have sophisticated taste in music and know what’s what, but history is quite obviously littered with examples of that not being the case, from Limp Bizkit to Attack Attack to…

Sorry, got distracted there. Progressive metallers In Virtue have posted a cover of Billie Eelish’s newest song, “No Time to Die,” which she co-wrote with her brother and longtime creative partner, Finneas, for the upcoming James Bond film of the same name. It’s a dark-sounding number so it’s no surprise to see it adapted for metal (in fact, it’s the second metal cover of the song we’ve heard thus far), but In Virtue have absolutely knocked it out of the park with a version that’s somehow even more melodramatic and melancholic than the original.

Check it out below! Along with Billie’s original, for reference. For more on In Virtue, check their Facebook and Bandcamp.
